This ground-breaking collaboration between PriyoShop, LankaBangla and MasterCard is a game-changer for small and medium-sized retailers, providing them with access to embedded finance that was previously out of reach. Over 5,000 merchants on the PriyoShop platform will be able to seamlessly process digital payments through the PriyoShop platform and POS terminals.
Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager, Bangladesh, Mastercard, said, "Mastercard is delighted to collaborate with LankaBangla Finance PLC and Priyoshop to introduce this new card for small and medium enterprises. This association will ensure long-term sustainable growth for enterprises by creating their credit history and allowing them to access formal financial services in the future easily. This launch aligns with Mastercard's commitment to promote digital payments adoption among communities in Bangladesh."
