EatWell Meal Kits has partnered with New Destiny Housing Corporation to deliver meal kits to domestic violence survivors, fostering food security

EatWell operates on the belief that “wholesome food changes lives,” said Adriana Katekawa, Chef and Chief Patient Officer at EatWell. Program participants receive a weekly supply of healthy, balanced ingredients along with recipes that take less than 30 minutes to prepare.

One recipient, a 20-year-old mom named Destiny, said she struggled for a long time with the constant stress of not knowing where her and her daughter’s next meal was coming from. She moved into a supportive housing building in the South Bronx close to a year ago and said EatWell Meal Kits have drastically improved her and her daughter’s life.

Between the lack of food and the stress of relying on pantries, Destiny lost over 40 pounds last year as she was forced to focus on feeding her daughter over herself. But things turned around once she began receiving kits from EatWell a few times per week, delivered to her door. The plain cardboard boxes conceal what Destiny called “kind of a surprise,” like a Christmas present.

Katekawa said most clients attest to many emotional and social benefits from using the kits. “It’s really about reclaiming their agency, providing stability for them and for their families, and finding joy.” EatWell has reached a milestone of 200,000 total meals served through partnerships with New Destiny Housing, Community Care Cooperative, WellSense, and the Elder Services of Worcester.

Pinky Promise, an app that provides affordable, instant, and reliable sexual and reproductive healthcare to Indian women, has joined the Mulago portfolio. In 2024, they launched their new app, which reached 200k users and completed 20k consultations. They also won $105,000 from OpenAI, The Agency Fund, and Turn.io.

MedEasy has partnered with MetLife Bangladesh, a leading name in the insurance industry. This strategic partnership will provide innovative solutions that combine MedEasy’s seamless medicine delivery service with MetLife’s trusted insurance coverage, ensuring more accessible and affordable healthcare for individuals and families across Bangladesh. 

 

 

JalSevak Solutions has commissioned their first residential kitchen wastewater treatment plant. Their greywater recycling solution treats and reuses approximately 500 liters of greywater every day.

 

 

PriyoShop, a B2B marketplace in Bangladesh that empowers small retailers by connecting them directly to suppliers and providing embedded financing, has launched 'Dipty', its first white-label brand for staple food products. 


Babblebots, that helps companies hire better, faster, and cheaper with conversational AI-Recruiters, has partnered with ZingHR. With the power of Babblebots' cutting-edge AI and ZingHR's advanced HCM solutions, they'll be transforming recruitment into a smarter and more personalized journey.


Blitz more than doubled their reach in 2024 with their couriers driving 163.5 million kilometres and delivering 10.4 million packages. With over 1,500 gig couriers on board using electric vehicles financed through their financial lending arm, they’ve prevented 17.8 million kilograms of greenhouse gas emissions within the logistic sector.
